MINI MEATBALLS
Makes 5 dozen
1 pound ground
Beef
½ cup dry Bread Crumbs
1/3 cup minced Onion
1/5 cup Milk
1 Egg
1 T. snipped Parsley
1 t. Salt
1/8 t. Pepper
½ t. Worcestershire Sauce
¼ cup Shortening
1 bottle Chili Sauce (12 oz.)
1 jar Grape Jelly (10 oz.)
Blend ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, parsley, salt,
pepper and Worcestershire sauce together. Shape into 1-inch balls.
Put shortening in large skillet and brown meatballs. Remove meatballs
from skillet and pour off fat.
Heat chili sauce
and jelly in skillet, stirring until jelly is melted. Add meatballs
and stir until thoroughly coated. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
