PIZZA
WONTONS
1/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. Italian sausage
3 oz. pepperoni, sliced thin and chopped
1/4 each bell pepper and onion, finely chopped
1/4 small can of chopped black olives
2 oz. chopped mushrooms, drained
1 jars of your favorite pizza sauce (14 oz.)
2 cups of shredded Pizza blend cheese
wonton skins
vegetable oil
Fry up ground beef and sausage; drain. Mix with pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms & black olives. Blend in cheese, then stir in enough pizza sauce until mixture is lightly moistened. All of these ingredient amounts are flexible – adjust according to your family’s preference.
Drop a teaspoon of filling onto a wonton skin, folding corners across to form a triangle and sealing edges with a little bit of water. Deep fry at 350-375 degrees until golden brown; drain. Serve with leftover sauce.
