SPINACH
CRESCENTS

(10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained well
8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed
¼ cup dry bread crumbs
3 slices bacon, crisp fried, crumbled
2 (8 oz.) cans of crescent rolls
1 egg, beaten
Combine spinach,
cheese, bread crumbs and bacon in saucepan. Cover over low heat
until cheese melts, stirring often. While cheese melts, separate
dough into 16 triangles; cut each in half so that you have 32 triangles
total. Spread with spinach mixture, roll up from wide end to close.
Place on greased baking sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 375ºF for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
