CINNAMON
CREAM CHEESE SWIRLS
½
lb. white bread
4 oz. Cream cheese
¼ cup sugar
1 egg yolk
½ stick butter, melted
2 T. sugar
1 T. cinnamon
Mix together
2 T. sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Cut crust off of bread and roll
out bread slices. Combine cream cheese, ¼ cup sugar and egg
yolk, blending thoroughly, then spread onto bread and roll into
log. Cut each roll in half and dip into melted butter, then roll
in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 350
degrees for 15 to 30 minutes or until crisp. |
