Ginger Cookies
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening
1 egg
2 T. dark corn syrup
2 t. ginger
2 cups flour
1 t. cloves
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
Mix together margarine,
sugar, shortening and egg. Beat in corn syrup and ginger. Add flour,
cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. Refrigerate about 1 hour. Take out
and roll into 16 equal balls; roll into a sugar cinnamon mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for
15 minutes. Cool.
