Maple
Rice Pudding

1/2 cups boiled rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 eggs
1 cup raisins
1 cup maple syrup
Combine the
rice and milk. Beat the eggs and maple syrup together; add them
to the rice and milk. Add all the other ingredients. Pour the mixture
into a buttered pudding dish, set this in a pan of hot water, and
bake it in a 350 degree F. oven or cook it on top of stove in double
boiler. Serve warm or cold.
Yield: 6-8 servings.
