ORANGE
FREEZER CHEESECAKE
Makes 9 servings
9”x 9” pan
Make Graham Cracker crust
1
cup graham cracker crumbs
2 T. sugar
5 T. unsalted butter, melted
Mix crumbs and
sugar together until well blended. Drizzle warm butter over all
and mix well with a fork or fingers. Press firmly into 9x9 pan.
Make
filling
1
can vanilla satin frosting
1 cup small curd cottage cheese, at least 2% butterfat
1 cup sour cream
1 – 16 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, slightly softened
Place ingredients
in blender and mix thoroughly. Pour into crust and freeze overnight.
NOTES:
Almost all recipes that call for creamed cottage cheese are referring
to small curd that’s at least 2% butterfat….the higher
the percentage, the creamier the cottage cheese so be as bold as
you want to be! |
