Butterscotch
Apple Squares

cup butter
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
1 ¼ cups chopped and peeled apples
6 oz. butterscotch chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/3 cups shredded coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
Melt
butter in 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over
butter. Spread apples evenly over crumbs. Melt butterscotch
chips with condensed milk in top of double boiler; when smooth,
pour evenly over apples. Top with coconut and nuts. Press
down gently. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until
lightly browned. Cool thoroughly, then chill. Cut into bars
to serve.
