CHAMPION
CHILIGHETTI CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
2 T. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 t. chili powder
3 t. salt, divided
2 cups red kidney beans, drained
1-1/2 cups spaghetti, uncooked
3 cups tomato juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
½ t. pepper
Brown
beef in olive oil, add onion, 1 t. salt, and chili powder;
cook until onion is tender. Arrange beef, beans and spaghetti
in a 2-1/2 qt. casserole. Combine tomato juice, Worcestershire,
remaining salt and pepper. Pour over casserole, cover and
bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve topped with melted cheese
if desired. Serves 8.
