Coney Sauce
This quick and easy traditional sauce gives a regular hot dog an “out of this world” flavor!

2 chopped onions
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon shortening
1½ lbs. hamburger
½ teaspoon garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon mustard
6 ounce can tomato sauce
4-5 ground hot dogs

Brown onions and hamburger in butter and shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until thick, stirring often. Serve over traditional hot dogs on a bun with your favorite toppings.
(Cheddar Cheese, onions, mustard, ketchup, relish, etc.)
