Cream Puff Pudding Bake

1 stick butter
1 cup water
1 cup flour
1 large vanilla instant pudding
2½ cups milk
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
½ cup chocolate chips
2 T. butter
3 T. milk
1 cup powdered sugar

For the crust; boil stick of butter and water, remove from heat. Add flour; stir until it forms a ball. Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time. Spread in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool.
With electric mixer, blend pudding, milk and cream cheese together until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled puff. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Chill.
For topping; melt chocolate chips, butter and milk in double boiler; remove from heat. Mix in powdered sugar until smooth and cool to room temperature. Drizzle with spoon over top and chill before serving.
