Spaghetti
Basilico
A versatile side dish that makes a delicious compliment for
steak, barbecued chicken or sautéed shrimp.
1 (1 lb.) package spaghetti
1 stick butter
1 large clove garlic, crushed
2 T. dried sweet basil
1 T. dried parsley flakes
½ t. salt
Pepper to taste
2 oz. fresh Parmesan Cheese, grated
Boil
pasta in salted water until done per package instructions.
While pasta is cooking make sauce.
In
large pan, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and cook
until transparent…about 1-2 minutes. Stir in basil and
parsley; remove from heat.
Drain
pasta and add salt, pepper and Parmesan Cheese; blend in seasoned
butter mixture stirring well.
