CHEESEBURGER
BISCUITS
1
lb. extra lean (7% fat) ground beef
1 t. seasoning salt
1/4 t. garlic powder
pepper to taste
1 can (8) jumbo buttermilk biscuits
mustard, ketchup, pickle relish, sweet onion, cheese slices
Mix ground beef
seasoning salt, garlic powder and pepper. Shape into 4
patties. Brown patties in large non-stick skillet over high heat.
Remove from pan and drain.
Preheat oven
to 375 degrees. On floured board or counter, roll each biscuit into
a 6-inch circle. Spread desired condiments (except cheese) as you
like on two biscuit circles; place one meat patty on one of the
circles. Moisten the edge with water or milk and turn top with remaining
circle, pressing edges together with fork. Remember to vent the
top with a couple of toothpick holes.
Bake on an ungreased
baking sheet 15-17 minutes. Place cheese slice(s) on each biscuit
and hold in warm oven until cheese melts. |
