GROUND
BEEF STROGANOFF
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
½ cup chopped onions
¼ cup flour
¾ cup beef consommé
½ t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
Mashed potatoes (instant or leftover!)
Your favorite cheese, cubed
Brown beef and
onion; drain off fat. Stir in consommé, flour, salt and pepper;
cook until thick. Stir in soup and sour cream and place in 2-1/2
qt. casserole. Shape potatoes into balls the size of an egg, placing
a cube of cheese in the center of each. Roll each ball in crushed
cornflakes and place on top of stroganoff mixture in casserole dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
